PostActivity conditions
There are certain conditions for advertising, holding and participating in activities and events as part of PostActivity.
The hosts organizing activities and the participants must comply with the conditions listed here.

Conditions for activities
- Extreme sports and activities with a high risk of injury are excluded from PostActivity
- Activities cannot have a commercial purpose
- Participants can be asked to make a contribution towards expenses
- PostActivity does not make any financial contributions
- The offers will be advertised in the host’s national language (DE/FR/IT) on postactivity.ch
- The activity counts as leisure time, not working time
Conditions for hosts
- The host works for Swiss Post or one of its subsidiaries
- The offers for activities are not commercial in nature
- The activity counts as leisure time, not working time
- Any participation fees must be significantly lower than the market price
- Any compensation for this self-employed activity as the host of the activity may constitute earned income under social security law. Once the earned income from this self-employed secondary employment exceeds CHF 2,300 per calendar year, registration with the cantonal compensation office as a self-employed person and payment of contributions (OASI/DI/EO) is mandatory (see Article 19 of the OASI Ordinance). The cantonal compensation office will be able to explain the details to you. Please clarify further whether this income is subject to tax for you.
- The host is responsible for:
- holding the event or events
- the list of participants as well as registration and deregistration
- cancelling an activity and informing the participants if the activity cannot take place
- keeping the event published on the platform up to date. He/she reports changes to P
- observing the COVID regulations of the Federal Office of Public Health / the canton / Swiss Post
- The host is the only point of contact for the guests
- He/she consents to his/her first name and the event details being published externally on the Internet
- He/she confirms to be the owner of the image. He/she permits Swiss Post to use the image on the microsite
Conditions for participants
- The participants work for Swiss Post or one of its subsidiaries
- Participants make sure in advance that they are physically fit for the activity
- Accident insurance is the responsibility of the participants (obligatory occupational accident insurance). Participants are generally insured against non-occupational accidents via their employer. Damage to third parties / property is covered by the participants’ personal liability insurance.
- Participants who are unable to participate in the activity or event after registering must deregister directly with the host of the offer
- COVID: the participants observe the applicable COVID regulations of the Federal Office of Public Health / the canton / Swiss Post
- The activity counts as leisure time, not working time
